As a Walking with Moms in Need ministry, our mission is to accompany pregnant or parenting moms who are going through difficult circumstances. Our ministry seeks to mentor and support these women, as we help them assess their needs, connect with the appropriate resources, and thrive in their roles as mothers.

About Us:

Walking with Moms in Need (WWMIN) is a nationwide initiative started in 2020 by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). This ministry was inspired by St. John Paul II’s “Gospel of Life” and seeks to support mothers going through difficult circumstances. Our local chapter, through the joint parishes of Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Boniface, serves women throughout Ottawa Co. Ohio. We collaborate with other WWMIN ministries throughout the Diocese of Toledo, sharing resources and ideas to broaden our ability to support moms in need. This ministry is free, confidential and open to all pregnant or parenting mothers.

Resources

Our volunteers are here to support women in finding resources to help with parenting, housing, utilities, food, transportation, health and wellness, childcare, and more! Find resources here.
