About our School
St. Boniface is an innovative school located in Oak Harbor, Ohio. We service preschool as well as Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our Christ-centered education focuses on the whole child, nourishing our students in mind, body, and spirit. Their wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do, which is why we offer not only top-notch education but also a rich variety of resources and extra-curricular activities. Our students may receive bussing from their home school district and are eligible to participate in sports through the BCS school district, ensuring a strong community belonging.
Our school is heavily invested in faith and family, and our doors are open to students of all backgrounds. Check out our activities, programs, and more to learn about our school and experience why we truly are different by design. Feel free to reach out with questions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I am not Catholic?
One third of our students at St. Boniface are not Catholic. St. Boniface is open to discussing its religious curriculum with parents so they understand what their children will be taught. The Catholic faith is our foundation, and we will not teach anything contrary to the Faith. We also believe parents are the primary teachers of their children and we are here to help you. We do what we do because we are Catholic, not because you are.
How can I afford tuition?
With the new Ohio EdChoice Scholarship Program, every student qualifies for at least a portion of tuition coverage. 94% of our current families have FULL tuition coverage.
Can our child ride the bus to school?
Yes! Busing is provided by the BCS, Genoa, and Woodmore school systems.
As a working parent, what kind of extended care do you have available?
St. Boniface offers adult-supervised before and after care programs. Our before care program starts at 7:15am and runs to the beginning of the school day. On days that school is delayed it is also available at an hourly rate. St. Boniface's after care program begins promptly at the end of the school day and runs until 4:00pm. Both programs are offered for an hourly fee.
Will my child be able to participate in sports and extracurricular activities?
Students of all ages are eligible to play sports within their home school district. Also, students in grades 7 and 8 may become members and participate in any team sport offered through BCS schools. Every effort is made to send home announcements regarding community extracurricular activities in the weekly school communication envelope.
How well do the children integrate into other school systems after their years at St. Boniface?
At St. Boniface we teach children to appreciate their peers for the qualities they possess, not what grade they are in. When you talk to our students you will note that they like our school because they can be friends with all of the students, not just the ones in their class. As they transition into the public schools, former St. Boniface students remember and welcome them. In addition, many students take advantage of activities outside of school (such as sports, scouts, 4-H, band, etc.) in which they become friends with children who are not St. Boniface students.
